QEII Junior Splash Meet ends with 81% PB rate

A fantastic effort from all those who raced at the recent QEII Junior Splash event held at our own Taiora QEII Recreation and Sport Centre here in New Brighton on Monday afternoon. We were super excited to see some new swimmers and new races at the meet while some of our older swimmers put together some great performances.🌟
The team finished up the meet with a brilliant 81% personal best rate across the meet as well as 21 races being completed for the first time! 🏊🎉
A big welcome Sophie and Macie who competed at their first swim meet and absolutely crushed it!🤩👏
A special shout out to Callum who went under the Division II time for the 50m Freestyle at the meet while Scarlett, Tilly and Cara requested and took on the 800m Freestyle (Cara and Tilly for the first time!).🔥👏
We cannot wait to see the team continue to build to Canterbury West Coast Short Course Champs in Rolleston later this month.
