QEII Announces New Squad Structure

Throughout this year we have continued to experience growth both in terms of overall membership and competitive swimming. This is due in part to the efforts of you as the swimmer and your supporters, parents and committee members and that of the head coach. We want to take this opportunity to thank you personally and recognise the efforts that have been put in to make these changes a possibility.

Taking into consideration a number of aspects including age, commitment, ability, racing expectations we have put together a programme that is broken into three distinct Pathways (Junior, Development and Age Group). Within each pathway, will be our individual Squads as set out in the following pages. Each Pathway (both squads) will train together and will be offered exactly the same opportunities as a starting point, with more tailored squad elements added in future that fit the requirements of that particular squad.

WAIT THERE’S MORE! As expected with this increase in coaching sessions and training development we will be needing some assistance to deliver the program.

A new coach will be joining our QEII Swim Club family!

Please stay tuned for the Welcome Club night to be announced very soon! We will finsh training early to meet and greet with our new coach. The Club will provide pizza & snacks but please bring a plate to share kai with us
