Success at North Canterbury Ribbon Carnival

A huge congratulations to the team of eleven swimmers that raced at the North Canterbury Ribbon Carnival in Rangiora this weekend. 🔥👏

It was brilliant to watch the team tick off more qualifying times and also a big shout out to all our swimmers trying the longer 200m and 400m races for the first time this weekend. 🎺🎉

We took a huge pile of personal best ribbons home (27 personal bests) with all the team contributing, and headlined by Cara's impressive 18 second personal best in the 50m Butterfly since the start of the year showcasing the teams hard work in training!

Big congratulations to Ben, who picked up the qualifying time in the 400m Freestyle for New Zealand Short Course Champs as well as New Zealand Division II times in the 50m Butterfly and 100m Freestyle! 🔥

We also had Elizabeth qualify for New Zealand Division II in the 50m Freestyle , and Chloe in the 200m Individual Medley, 400m Individual Medley and 200m Butterfly (particularly impressive as she had only one race between the 400m IM and 200m Butterfly)!🔥
