Successful home meet for Team QEII

A massive well done to our incredible team of seventeen swimmers who competed at our very own QEII Ruth Woolley Memorial Meet at Parakiore over the weekend! 🎉🙌🥇

The team lifted for our home meet, delivering a number of awesome swims, a heap of personal bests, and incredible qualifying marks. It was great to see the team lift for finals (or swim offs!) as well as cheering loudly as their teammates raced, grabbing a sneaky butterfly relay victory by the smallest of margins and crushing a huge number of personal bests! It was fantastic to have you all down at the pool for the very first short course meet at the new facility.✨️🏊‍♂️

Congratulations to Chloe, Scarlett and Ben who swum under qualifying marks for New Zealand Short Course champs later in the year and Tilly and Joe who swum under Division II qualifying marks! Also, special mention to Avalon taking on the 400m Freestyle for the first time!💪🏊‍♀️
