Team excel at Dragons Clash of the Waves meet

An amazing job from the team of 11 QEII swimmers at the 2025 Dragons Clash Of Waves meet held at Jellie Park last weekend with lots of highlights and heaps of proud moments! 🏊🎉

We were super excited to have new swimmers along for their first official swim meet, while some new challenging races were swum by our older swimmers!

The team walked away with 28 personal bests at a 78% PB rate, along with a fantastic 15 Podium Finishes, and 4 Swimming NZ Division II.🤩👏

We also had a some fun with the 8x50m Freestyle T Shirt relay with all swimmers required to race with their club T Shirt on as we took out the first heat and finished second overall ranked on time!

Big shout out to Elizabeth who qualified for Division II for the first time (50m Backstroke and 100m Backstroke) and to Callum and Scarlett for trying the 100m Butterfly for the first time!🔥👏

Congratulations also to Scarlett and Chloe for picking up further NZ Division II times (100m Butterfly and 200m Freestyle respectively).
