Bronze for Ben at NZ Secondary Schools Open Water

Big congratulations to Ben who claimed third place in both the 1km and 3.5km at the 2026 New Zealand Secondary Schools Open Water Championships at Rotorua today. 🥉🥉🎉

Representing Shirley Boys, Ben finished the 3.5km race in a time of 44:05.51 before an hour later taking bronze in the 1km in a time of 13:59.75. 🏊‍♂️👏

Ben added to his national medal haul in 2026 after collecting medals at New Zealand Open Water Champs earlier in the year. 🔥
